LES Live is a unique NYC event that exemplifies the explosion of indie rock over the last two years and the scene and culture that has emerged around this movement in NYC’s lower east side. Amidst a population of hipsters and trendsetters, a lot of great bands are the driving force behind the rapidly rising reputation of the lower east side as the city’s premiere locale for hearing the best, newest, and most innovative sounds that New City has to offer. LES Live features many great indie and alternative bands from New York, Boston, and the surrounding areas, playing together over the course of several months at different venues in the lower east side, as well as Boston and Philly.

Bourbon Underground NYC is a southern rock, or “bourbon rock” music series. Started in Fall 2005, Bourbon Underground has grown in popularity and seen bands from Atlanta, Baltimore, and Boston, as well as from the New York area. One of the featured bands who has played and continues to play the Bourbon Underground series is Leroy Justice (www.leroyjustice.com). Sixgun republic is one of the newest additions to the Bourbon Underground roster. Maker’s Mark has participated in the event, sponsoring shows and providing a bourbon open bar.
